Passage of the stomach tube

   In the horse, the stomach tube must be inserted at the ventral commissure and directed into the nasal meatus.
  In the cow, it can be passed through the nose or through the mouth. The tube should pass under the rostral end of the ventral concha into the ventral nasal meatus.

Nematodes that parasitize domestic animals are found in all parts of the body but are most commonly found in the digestive and respiratory tracts, and in the circulatory system.
