Castration and vasectomy in bulls

For castration, the bull is cast on lateral recumbency, and with help of a large burdizo castrator, the spermatic cords are crushed one by one.
VAsectomy is done to prepare the teaser bulls. Local anesthesia is applied to the spermatic cord and on the subcutaneous tissue at the side of the scrotal incision. A single midscrotal incision is made and a 2-3 inches piece of ductus deference is removed bilaterally, this will interrupt the flow of sperms.
